No. 33/2024 – Walk in Interview Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad. Project Title: “Deciphering Chromatin-mediated mechanisms of transcription regulation in Apicomplexan Parasite Theileria annulata” PI: Dr. Paresh Sharma. Post Code: Project Associate - II (1 Position) Tenable upto: 06 Months. Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in life sciences OR Post Graduate degree in professional course. M.V.Sc./M.Tech./MSc. Degree in Biotechnology Biochemistry / Microbiology / Immunology. Experience: Candidate should have minimum two-year research experience preferably as JRF (eligibility criteria as per DST OM No.SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10.07.2020). Candidates with prior experience in molecular biology, gene cloning, protein purification, gene editing, microscopy, Flowcytometry analysis and cell culture techniques will be preferred. Fellowship amount: Rs. 35,000/- + HRA (if applicable) with NET or Post Graduate degree in professional course as per the DST guidelines. However Non NET candidates can also apply who will be paid Rs. 28,000/- + HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines. Age: 35 years.
